On the afternoons of December 6th and December 12th, CBEIS successfully held the Shengyi Cup Badminton Tournament in the badminton hall of Yuquan Campus, Zhejiang University. 16 teams from different departments of the school participated in the tournament. After two intense and fierce competitions, the top four and the top eight teams were finally decided.
A group match was held on December 6th, with five events including men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles. 16 teams of different departments were divided into four groups for single round-robin competitions. Eight teams including the cross talk team stood out at the end of the day’s competition.
On December 12, the knockout, semi-final and final rounds were held. The College of Energy Engineering won the championship, School of Mechanical Engineering won the second place, College of Civil Engineering and Architecture won the third place, and Guanghua Law School won the fourth place.
The badminton tournament greatly promoted the understanding and friendships between the colleges of our school, and fully demonstrated the students' unity, hard work, and enterprising spirit. It also greatly improved the communications between teachers and students.
